I’ve started going back to running outdoors. I would either run around the Manila Memorial Park, around Ayala Triangle Gardens or around Severina in Paranaque.
Based on my previous runs, I’m actually in Zone 3 (70 percent to 80 percent of your maximum heart rate). It’s quite a struggle to go into Zone 2 (60 percent to 70 percent of your maximum heart rate) especially that I wanted my pace to be a bit faster than my treadmill workouts.
I’m confused now whether I should continue with Zone 3 training or just focus with Zone 2.
