Samsung N220
Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation just launched the latest models of their line of netbooks. These netbooks are: Samsung N220 and N150. Samsung N220 has a battery life of up to 12 hours while the N150 can run up to 8 hours. It’s battery performance is impressive and this is because that they have worked to reduce the power consumption by using an energy efficient LED display and also because of the optimized processing performance and Samsung’s Enhanced Battery Life solution.
Samsung N150
The N220 and N150 promises of an enhanced visual experience with its 10.1″ LED anti-reflective display which fine-tunes movies and images, and its display has no mirror effect under bright lights. Both netbooks have the Easy Resolution Manager tool wherein a user can easily change the screen resolution if a program or game needs to be viewed in 1024×768. Both of the netbooks have built-in Digital LiveCam for video conferencing and or messaging.
Samsung N220 and N150 have a slim profile with an elegant design. N220 features the new crystal pattern design while the N150 features an integrated hinge for smooth movement and a high quality feel. In addition, its casing which is durable and scratch-resistant reduces the risk of damage.
Samsung N220’s “Instant On” feature is great to have because you can immediately go online without waiting for Windows to boot. This feature is powered by the Phoenix HyperSpace‚Ñ¢ tool. The Samsung Recovery solution allows you to easily format, back-up and recover your data without using CDs. It allows you to automatically and regularly back up your files to the hard drive
Both Samsung N220 and N150 uses Intel’s latest processor, the Intel¬Æ Atom‚Ñ¢ N450. It is based on a new micro-architecture, and it increases energy efficiency to extend battery life, while delivering enhanced mobile performance and increased system responsiveness.
Like other Samsung netbooks, the N220 and N150 have been awarded the leading environmental and usability standard, TCO Certified, and are ECO RoHS compliant.
As well as being ergonomically designed for optimum ease of use and performance, Samsung netbooks are also completely mercury free and consume significantly less power thanks to their LED backlit displays. Their ultra-lightweight, robust and compact design also offers other ‘green’ advantages, as less power is used in the manufacture and usage phases of their product life.
