No Black Affair Gig

The Manila Doctors College No Black Affair gig was the gig that I first went to after the I-cannot-recall-that-gig anymore. I got a chance to watch Urban Dub, Imago, Up Dharma Down, and Paramita all in one night alone. Which makes the 150 bucks EF worth it. I also brought my camera with me to take pictures. Lo and behold, my camera turned off at the middle of the Imago set which led me to not being able to watch Radioactive Sago Project for the hopes of being able to charge the batteries so that I could take some pictures.

Imago’s set started with the song Spoliarium which is an Eraserheads original. Then they performed Akap (which they refer to as the Rica Peralejo song) and Taning which was Mikey’s (from The Man Blog) status message in YM a few days ago. Upon their last song, Aia just held on the microphone and did the Capoeria. Urban Dub rocked the crowd with their songs from their third album Embrace. It was good to see Up Dharma Down performed last night. Their vocalist/keyboardist has never failed to amuse me. The last band that performed last night is Paramita. Their song Hiling which became number for weeks in the NU107 Midnight Countdown became one of the crowd’s anthem.
