March 7 marked as the first day of WorldBEX 2006. WorldBEX is World Building and Engineering Construction Exposition where Engineers, Architects, Real Estate Developers and Interior Designer meets suppliers of tiles, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, coffee and even credit card agents. The venue of this event is at World Trade Center and it will run until Saturday (March 11). As I went around, I passed by a tile supplier where they have put tiles on a car which is a Hyundai Getz. They’ve added a girly look on the car with the flower “tile art” on it. Surely, they did get my attention and as well as the other people who attended the said event.

But the other supplier really had some gimmick. They have organized some sort of a fashion show where the ramp models will walk around the ramp that they have built surrounded by the bathroom fixtures. This has certainly caught the crowd where 99.99 percent of the spectators are men. Meanwhile, a particular cement supplier made a girl dressed in a skimpy outfit and had body paint all over her as if she was made to look like a statue. At first I really thought it was a statue, but then, her eyes moved all of a sudden. So, I was a bit surprised that the statue isn’t a real statue at all.
