If you remember the years before the Eraserheads was disbanded, the band was signed with Sony-BMG. They had a 10-year contract with them. And it would really make sense that they will be the new producer of the concert. I could just imagine outside that there will be CDs for sale. Anyway, it was already confirmed in the Eraserheads mailing list that they will be indeed the new producer.

Tickets
The fans have been patiently waiting for weeks regarding information on how they can watch the concert. It used to be free, now it’s not free but there’s still no official announcement regarding the tickets. However, one lister called Ticket World regarding ticket information:

ticketworld na dw ang official na magbebenta. Tumawag
ako kanina ilalabas na nila yung details tomorrow…

and here are the details:

P 2,060 – VIP
P 1,030 – Backpart

When can I get my tickets?

Tickets for the Eraserheads Reunion on August 30, 2008 will be
officially released this Thursday (August 28) through Ticket World.
For inquiries, call: +632 891 9999.

Now, I wonder, how can they fill up Bonifacio Global City open grounds in three days. Perhaps there will be panic buying of tickets when it’s going to be announced. I’m not sure though if Ticket World website could surpass a Digg-effect like traffic. With that, since mostly will get their salaries on Friday, (most likely to happen for those who do not have credit cards or who have maxed out already their credit cards) will probably wait for Friday before they could buy the tickets. And if someone will buy it online, I’m not sure if it would be a nice idea to get your tickets via a courier since there’s only a few days left.

Can we bring cameras to the concert?
Regular concerts usually prohibits this. However, there’s still no official announcement regarding this question but someone from the mailing list said that professional cameras are not allowed even in the VIP section (still not sure as of this writing). As for camcorders, I think that they’ll prohibit this since they might release an Eraserheads reunion concert DVD/VCD which I would definitely buy if they would release one. 😀 And yes, it would really make sense to release one since it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event. It’s happening only for one night.
