I was able to attend the Sinosikat Album Launch at Hard Rock Cafe last night courtesy of Jay de Jesus of TitikPilipino.com. Sinosikat is released under Warner Music Philippines. They are composed of Kat Agarrado (vocals), Nick Azarcon (guitars), and Reli de Vera (drums).
In the event, I was able to get to meet the band and I also bumped into Chris who writes the album reviews for The Manila Times and the ultimate band photographer Brutalgrace.
Some notes about the members
Anyway, Kat Agarrado is the former vocalist of Passage and she also sings for the Wally Gonzales band. I’m not sure though if she still performs with them. Reli de Vera was from Third World Project and Nick Azarcon is the brother of Nathan Azarcon. The original lineup includes Allen Umali (bass), also from Third World Project, and Nikki Cabardo (keyboards).
