POST UPDATED. Read more for Official Details on Ticket Release

If you remember the years before the Eraserheads was disbanded, the band was signed with Sony-BMG. They had a 10-year contract with them. And it would really make sense that they will be the new producer of the concert. I could just imagine outside that there will be CDs for sale. Anyway, it was already confirmed in the Eraserheads mailing list that they will be indeed the new producer. Continue Reading

Davao International Airport

It was my first time in Davao last Saturday. I went there with Nina, Melo, Eric, Gail and Marc. Eric arrived there first though since he took a different flight from us :D . Continue Reading

T'boli Guitar
T’boli Guitar (Hegalong)

I was able to buy an authentic T’boli guitar for only 600 pesos (near Ponce Apartments). I saw one being sold at eBay.ph for 2,500 pesos. However, the bidding ended already last month. The T’boli guitar has only two strings. The guitar is long, slender and it’s light when held. Joey Ayala uses the same kind of guitar that I bought. Continue Reading

Here’s another update from Raymund Marasigan from the mailing lists:

dear everybody

after much ado. the eraserheads concert is most definitely pushing through.

philip morris and its brands have pulled out from the concert. but another company is taking over the production. the turn over started yesterday and they have already started work on the site in the fort. so you can check.

there are good news and bad news.

unfortunately it’s no longer free. all the long winded registration procedures in the red nation site is now void.

the good news is that the age limit is now 12 years old (for safety reasons) and tickets will be sold so you don’t have to wait for confirmation and what not.

the official announcement and ticketing details will come out in major newspapers and on the radio on tuesday.

these are the only details i know for now so no need to email me. i’m just the drummer.

btw. i just got home from the last rehearsal. the band is cooking. we will see you all on the 30th.

Fatal Posporos at Admit One

Aside from the Fatal Posporos and the Twisted Halo reunion gigs that were held at Saguijo, Sugarfree’s drummer Mitch Singson, played with his former bandmates. :) Continue Reading

I just got this from the Eraserheads Mailing List. Now, he’s not speaking the Harry Potter way. :D Rayms posted this in the Sandwich mailing list. I’m not sure about the other mailing lists like Pedicab and Cambio. :)

dear kids

the 2nd day of rehearsals last monday went even better than the first.
we had a nice pace running the whole set in sequence.

everybody seemed more relaxed and knew what to expect. the band is
certainly ready to bring the rock.

hope to see you there

This was just posted last Wednesday. :) Should we still worry about the dementors? Anyway, if you’re given a chance to create the setlist for the Eraserheads reunion concert (10 songs), what are those songs? :)

I just got this from the Eraserheads Mailing List. It was first posted on the Cambio Mailing List and perhaps also on Sandwich and Pedicab mailing lists as well.

dear wizards and witches

there is some disturbing news at the ministry of magic. the dementors
are doing everything they can to stop the show.

be safe

aldus dumbledore

Obviously, we all know who are the dementors. Anyway, I firmly believe that the concert is legal and PMI is not violating the Tobacco Regulation Law since it is their event. They are the organizers and not the sponsors. They, PMI, did not ask me to blog this. Because I wanted to share to everyone that one of the Philippine’s most influential bands (Eraserheads) is having a reunion concert. Two words for the dementors:

Expecto Patronum ;)

Note: I am not connected with PMI.
