Louie Talan of Razorback and owner of Wombworks Inc. had a recent talk about investing in creativity (being a creative entrepreneur). It was such an inspiring talk. He related to us about how he wished he could have been more organized when he started Wombworks and also about his project on bringing music where indigenous instruments are used to United Kingdom since the project is with a producer from UK. The iPlurk App
5 Comments Filed under Geeky stuff
The iPlurk app is the only Plurk app for iPod Touch and the iPhone that’s available in the App Store. I’ve already made a few tests on it. I bet the iPhone owners (because it has a camera) would love the feature Upload a photo.
Below is a screenshot of the iPlurk app interface when you post a new plurk, edit an existing plurk or respond to a plurk.

I was hoping that the app could be free. Anyway, the app costs $1.99. And oh, I haven’t found a blog post about in on the official blog Plurk.com.
[UPDATED]
Tickets for the Eraserheads concert are now available at TicketWorld.
The final set is scheduled on March 7, 2009 and the venue was already confirmed (SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City). Ticket prices are kinda expensive though. If you have money to splurge on the ticket, I suggest you get the 3,000 pesos ticket since it will give you a good view of the concert.
Date: 03.07.09 (March, 7, 2009)
Venue: SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City
Ticket prices: P5000, P3000, P1300, P300
Here’s the seat map to the much awaited concert.

Anabel Bosch is the lead vocalist of Analog. She suffered aneurysm and she just had a medical surgery which was successful. The first set amongst the series of fundraiser gigs was held at Big Sky Mind last night. Continue Reading
UP Lantern Parade 2008
No Comments Filed under Events
This was the first time that I got to watch the whole parade. Me and Sha watched it from the AS steps instead of watching it at Quezon Hall which is the last stop of the parade. More people watched the parade and more people participated in the parade as well. There were representatives from UP Manila, Los Banos, Pampanga, Visayas and Mindanao. Continue Reading
Mayor Pangandaman Beats Up 56 year old man and his 14 year old son
13 Comments Filed under Personal Randomness, Tidbits
I don’t know what Mayor Pangandaman thought of when this horrible thing happened. All I know is that he already stained his reputation because of his anger seemed took control of him.
But never, in my wildest dreams, did I ever imagine that someone would pull out a punch. Apparently not. He attacks my father. His flightmates, maybe 2 or 3 of them, rush to his aid and beat up my father. My 56-year-old father. My younger brother and I could not just watch. We rushed to break the fight. My younger brother pleads to the mayor to please stop it. To not hurt my dad. To just stop. His words still ring through my head…”Sorry na po, sorry na po…tama na…tama na po…” With his hands in front of his chest in a praying position. PLEADING. The mayor socks him in the face. My brother defended himself. My dad is still on the ground getting clobbered. My brother is the same way. I try to stop the fight, but all I can do is stop one person. There were 4 or 5 of them attacking now.
The Mayor’s father is the Secretary of Agrarian Reform who’s a government peace negotiator. I find it a bit odd that he just watched everything happened as told by Bambee: Continue Reading
I was amongst the first bloggers who got to see the first screening of Dayo. The premiere night was held last Friday at SM Megamall Cinema 10. There were a lot of kids as expected during the premiere night.
Watch them today and until the last showing at theaters nationwide.
