Havaianas stage

Last Wednesday, we attended the launch of the Havaianas exhibit at Powerplant mall and also the lauch of RockEd Philippines’ Original Project Grant. Iya Villania and Mo Twister were the hosts for the event. Upon arriving the event, we were told that we should have our pictures taken on the wall setup at the North Court of the Powerplant mall in Rockwell. We never had an idea at first that each photo posted on the wall will be of big help to the Original Project Grant of Roc Ed. Each photo posted there is equivalent to a pledge worth 470 pesos. All you need to do is to write an essay why you are the biggest fan of the Eraserheads (in a minimum of 800 words). :D The top three essays will be judged by Raymund Marasigan. The guitar to be won is a Fender Thinline Telecaster guitar (wooden finish) and a Fender Frontman Amp. Know more about the contest details at Pulse.ph. I’m here at SM Marikina with other bloggers for the wi-fi stress test. We’re currently at CyberZone (at the ground floor). I’m using iPod Touch as my test device while most are using their laptops. Earlier, I was able to connect near the main entrance of the mall and it was pretty fast. I was loading GMail then.

Update
Sha won the ASUS laptop that SM Marikina raffled off after the event. A great “birthday gift” indeed. :D

What do you need to do, just click the ad below the blog post. (no, not that image below this paragraph, the ad just before you get to post the comments) ;) :D
