Difference by The Dawn

This is The Dawn’s most recent music video and it was being shown in MYX already. The song Difference is composed by Buddy Zabala, the new bassist of The Dawn. Mike Sandejas (Tulad ng Dati director) directed the music video.

The music video was shot in KODAK EASTMAN super 16mm film during a 2 day cinematography workshop given by Amercian Cinematographer Joe D’Alessandro.

The music video has a horror-comedy theme. And according to Mike Sandejas’ interview with PhilMusic, it is indeed a Scooby Doo inspired music video.

As a bonus, here’s the lyrics of the song Difference. :)

DIFFERENCE
by The Dawn

I wanna reach out
I wanna pull back
I wanna feel needed
All at the same time

I wanna tear down
Billboards around me
Just to see how far
I am behind you

And the things you said about getting by
That made you shine in the dead of night
And made me want to cry

Hey now, hey now
Do you really think it would make a difference, yeah
Hey now, hey now
Do you really think it would make a difference, yeah
If I let you in

All the signs on TV
All the signs along the highways
Tell us what should matter most
Tell me you know, tell me you know

And the things you said about getting by
That made you shine in the dead of night
And made me want to cry

Hey now, hey now
Do you really think it would make a difference, yeah
Hey now, hey now
Do you really think it would make a difference, yeah
If I let you in
