Cueshe’s Stay

Cueshe is one of the rising bands today with their single Stay also playing on Love Radio. The first time I heard Stay, the moment I heard its Intro, I was saying, “Uhm… Simple Plan?” Yes my dear friends. Listen closely to the intro of Cueshe’s Stay and Simple Plan’s Perfect (the heavy guitar parts of course). The guitar riffs in Cueshe’s Stay sounds like that of Simple Plan. I bet many have noticed that already. I hope that the local bands would come up with their distinct sound so as not to be associated with another foreign band or some local band for that matter.

    yup, definitely has a similarity now that you’ve mentioned it…but i was reminded of an older band actually, intro lang naman, bon jovi…altho cant really remember what bon jovi song, hmmm…probably due to advancing years. ;)

    unang beses na narinig ko sa bus yung kantang yon.. naisip ko agad yung “greatest view” ng silverchair… tapos napanood ko sila sa magandang umaga pilipinas.. eto lang masasabi ko … LITERAL NA POSTER! :) nakakaasar..

    mga chong, trip na trip ko yung typecast since 2003, meron ko nung 2 albums nila pero napansin ko lang talaga.. saosin rip-off yung isang kanta nila :) peace chi :)

    This band is a plagiarizing band….ok lang ang mga remakes ni Paolo Santos and MYMP….but this is crazy. They’re ripping off songs from foreign artists to sound good…and try to look sickenly cool about it. Posers!! Join the we_hate_cueshe group. Ang daming members in less than one day!! Spread the word sa friendster, mailing lists atbp!!!

    yung bokalista nila parang bakla kasi nagfifiting fiting ang taba taba naman!!!!!!!!!! ok lang ung gitarista nila kasi bagay maging rackista.. ung lead vocals talaga nila eh halos tumitindig lang parati sa video walang ginagawa.. parang kinuha lang xa ng banda para meron silang matawag na lead vocalist pero he’s acting like a backup vocals.. dapat kusa ng umalis ung chubby na vocalista!!!!!!!!!!!

    The first time i saw them was when they perform at the Gaisano city here at Bacolod. Cueshe is a great band! They make the croud shout especially the girls..Time pass by and i’m shocked when i saw them on the TV. I really like Cueshe!!!!!

    kasi ganito yun eh, ang mga ibang banda nagpapakahirap magsulat to come up with a great song, then nanakawin lang ng ibang “manufactured” or “product” bands like kweshe then ang aangas pa nila?

    @aissa sumido: yep mukha ngang bakla yung tabatsoy na naka-bodyfit na bokalista kuno na mukha namang poste dahil nakatayo lang sa harap ng stage.

    @lea: ang oasis ay hindi nangririp-off ng kanta ng beatles. aminado silang idol nila ang fab four. to the point na gusto ni liam na mabuhay ang 2 dead members to reunite. pero hindi sila nagnanakaw ng kanta tulad ng kweshe na ninakaw ang verse ng hey dad pimple clan at ng SILVERCHAIR CHORUS na THE GREATEST VIEW.

    what a disgrace.

    if u think about it- lots of songs sound lyk they wer ripped off from others. stay has good lyrics and yes the intro does sound like perfect, except its not as distorted.
