For me, everyday should be a day full of gratitude despite of the problems we encounter. Saying of thanks have evolved through out the years, from “Thank You” to a shorter “Thanks” to a much shorter “TY”, to the text-speak “Tnx”, to the LOL-cat speak inspired “Thx” and the list goes on.

And for us to be reminded that it is not only on the “National Thank You Day” that we should say thanks, Toblerone started the “National Thank You Day”, a day that should be full of sweetness like taking a bite of that luscious chocolate. (more…)

Adidas Stella McCartney Collection - 9

Maybe some of you didn’t know that Stella McCartney is Paul McCartney’s daughter (yes, one of the Beatles). Unlike her parents, she ended up being a fashion designer where she successfully made a name for herself. Just last night, at the Adidas Rockwell store, Stella McCartney’s Adidas Spring/Summer 2009 collection was launched. (more…)

I don’t know what Mayor Pangandaman thought of when this horrible thing happened. All I know is that he already stained his reputation because of his anger seemed took control of him.

But never, in my wildest dreams, did I ever imagine that someone would pull out a punch. Apparently not. He attacks my father. His flightmates, maybe 2 or 3 of them, rush to his aid and beat up my father. My 56-year-old father. My younger brother and I could not just watch. We rushed to break the fight. My younger brother pleads to the mayor to please stop it. To not hurt my dad. To just stop. His words still ring through my head…”Sorry na po, sorry na po…tama na…tama na po…” With his hands in front of his chest in a praying position. PLEADING. The mayor socks him in the face. My brother defended himself. My dad is still on the ground getting clobbered. My brother is the same way. I try to stop the fight, but all I can do is stop one person. There were 4 or 5 of them attacking now.

The Mayor’s father is the Secretary of Agrarian Reform who’s a government peace negotiator. I find it a bit odd that he just watched everything happened as told by Bambee: (more…)

Congratulations to Katrina Nano for winning the contest.

Here’s her answer:

My mom gave me this Jansport backpack way way back. It’s huge and white. I didn’t like it cause it looks so big and just for boys. And back then,I didn;t know Jansport is like a little expensive. And so Im left with no choice but to wear it to school. So my classmates were like teasing me,”why do you carry those big backpack”.And I was very ashamed on it.But there came a time they’ve been in on school, so i was like”Ha! Im the first one who got them” ..Like a proud momma. :)) I useit everytime me and my family go out of town.It has alot of use not just for school, but for everywhere. It’s really cute and useful in so many ways.
And since Jansport backpacks with cute patterns on it are so in trend right now for students.I am planning to buy one.So i google-d where i can find them. And here you are being an angel giving away a free backpack.:)
