Cebu gig 2006
Thanks to Sha for this great music recommendation. 
Anyway, I just learned that Franco Reyes had a gig in Mayrics, January of this year. And I missed it! Argh! In that gig, he’s with his collaboration band Suspitsados consisting of: 8 Toleran of Queso (guitars), Gabby Alipe of Urbandub (guitars), Jan Mendoza of Urbandub (drums), and Buwi Meneses of Parokya ni Edgar (bass). This song is also being aired on NU107.
Inyo is a band based in Florida, USA and was formed in early 2006. In the same year the band was formed, they recorded an 11-track album at Big3 Records. Inyo is led by Franco Reyes (lead vocals and guitars). Other members of the band are: Mike Sylvia (drums and vocals), Tommy Jamin (bass and vocals) and Anton Cortes (guitars and vocals).
Inyo’s single “Cast Away” is currently being played in NU 107.5 and is already hitting the charts.
It’s really a cool song, promise. wahhh!! gotta have a copy of the album.

hi karla! i just checked out the band INYO a couple days ago, uhmm by any chance do you have the lyrics of their songs? i actually have their album demo with 11 songs. I’m fortunate enough to have a copy of their album, but unfortunately i cant find any lyrics of their songs. so yea hit me up!

i heard there two songs a mass for the end of time and cast away and currently listening to track 3. they sound like urbandubish “to me” so im asking whats the fuzz with this band. to me theres nothing much its just a plain ol’ bandwagon sound nothing much happening with this band. but “they played good”. got to hand them that credit the have great musicianship kinda thing. well franco reminded me of eddie vedderish if you recall the 90′s issue about that guy. another sound from our fellow brother from cebu. to all pinoy out there dont get bitten by the mass hysteria listen carefully getting sick and tired of that same ol’ same ol’ geese…

To el circulo, well said there man. But just to let you know that the frontman of the band “inyo” is Gabe’s idol when he first started in the band scene. So, I think it’s not surprising to know that there’s a bit of similarity between the two. What’s the fuzz with this band? It means a lot to all indie musicians if ever they would make it big in the States. They already have a strong fan based there, so it’s not impossible. If your really into music, then you can look at first your talent or your materials above anything else. Give us something that we can be proud of, Ok?
I still like the castaway version done by frank (the band of franco reyes back when he was still here in cebu living the life and when the music still sounded raw).Together with paul cañada (CDMC, Sheila and the insects), they tore the house down.
