“Ang Huling El Bimbo” is just one of the songs included in FilharmoniKA’s album entitled, “Kumpas”. I was not able to hear it in the radio. Good thing there’s iMeem and someone uploaded it there.
It just feels nostalgic every time I hear an Eraserheads song. Way back in the 90′s, I remember buying song hits with Eraserheads songs and play them on my guitar. And I love playing Ang Huling El Bimbo (yes, the whole song). I also remembered that I would play the intro of “Kailan” on our piano. In addition to that, I’d play the familiar bass line of Alapaap that my brother taught me.
When I was in first year college, me and my neighborhood friends would sing some Eraserheads songs during our inuman sessions.
With this release of Ang Huling El Bimbo, I wish that I could see them play together again, once more.
