This is the concert that we’ve waited for. Me and Sha ditched our Cagayan de Oro trip just to be able to watch this concert. The best part would be when Ely lit up a paper and put it on the Sticker Happy piano and poured lighter fluid over it. (more…)

Me and Sha weren’t able to go to the NU107 Rock Awards. However, we were able to follow tweets of Karen Gino, Sleepwalk Circus, Francis Reyes and Toti Dalmacion and we were also able to listen to the radio. Some of those who I’m betting that will get the trophy have won. (more…)
Pupil’s Album Launch of Wildlife Special Edition has been a success. The bad weather that night did not become a hindrance to us. A lot of people arrived there early filling up the seats in the middle. (more…)
RockEd Philippines’ One for the Roadie project is something that’s noteworthy and should be supported. Roadies or the road managers are the ones who are taking care of the bands/artists every time they have gigs. They make the life of a musician a little easier. Because of the lack of health benefits and because of their lifestyle (like sleeping really late), RockEd Philippines thought of this project, which is to provide an emergency health fund for the roadies. After waiting for so long, it finally arrived!!! I created my own custom photo book using blurb.com because I like the way how I can customize the layouts of the pages and also the ability to add text. (more…)
The setup was pretty simple. I used my iPhone with the Griffin iTalk app (quality was set to Best, file format produced is AIFF). No cable was attached to the TV and to the recording device (iPhone). I know this is an amateur bootleg but I’d like to check the results. I enhanced the volume of the audio by amplifying it using Audacity (result is an mp3 file 256kbps). I also added Fade in and Fade out but not on this audio sample (see the audio player below).
Good thing it was quiet in the sofa, plus, the dog was not barking. Good thing he was cooperative. LOL. I had to turn off the electric fan so that its sound won’t be recorded as well. Yep. Sacrifices.
Anyway, I was kinda disappointed with the quality of audio that went with the video shown.
Here’s a sample of the result. I’d like to show more samples but the upload speed right now is so slow.

By the way, I saw myself too on the concert. LOL. Just my eyes, nose and my camera. It is because the bouncer was blocking me. Argh.
Last week, the day after the Eraserheads Final Set concert, I went to Trinoma to watch Red Jumpsuit Apparatus in their activity center. As expected, there were a lot of people in the mall, it is really rare to have foreign act perform in the mall which means you can actually watch them for free. Anyway, thanks to Jayvee for this opportunity and of course to Trinoma. (more…)
This is the 2nd part of my Eraserheads Live! The Final Set Experience. You can check out part 1 here. The first song was Magasin. It was one of those songs that they weren’t able to play during the first reunion concert. It was like the biggest videoke party that one would experience the moment Magasin was played. (more…)
