6 Cycle Mind’s version of Prinsesa

I was just checking my e-mails when I heard 6 Cycle Mind’s bossa nova version of Prinsesa. I was at a loss at a short span of time and saying to myself, “Huh? 6 Cycle Mind doing a bossanova?”.

This song (included in their self-titled album Teeth) was popularized in the 90s by Teeth and the song was immortalized during our jamming slash drinking sessions. I like how they did the arrangement of the song. However, I really do not like their vocalist.

blah, I can never tolerate 6cyclemind at all. I don’t get the appeal of the lead vocalist and ‘Umaasa’ makes me itch to cringe. Haha, ang bitter ng tone ko.

I heard it in, of all stations, NU107. I’m thinking it’s their label’s move to capitalize on the “Bossa thing.”
