Itchyworms are currently working on their album which is hopefully to be released in the middle of 2008 (that should be around June 2008). The first time that I was able to watch them perform live was at 70’s Bistro in Cubao. I was still in college at that time. Itchyworms is composed of Jugs Jugueta (guitars and vocals), Chino Singson (guitars), Kelvin Yu (bass) and Jazz Nicolas (drums). Finally, I was able to see Christine Gambito in person. She’s the one behind HappySlip. She’s also the one behind in one of my favorite music videos in YouTube. If you haven’t watched that one, you should. It’s brilliant and hilarious at the same time. I did not win in the raffle, I was actually hoping for the cute and cuddly teddy bear. Good news for those who will not be able to make it later. I just got an email from Yehey’s Marketing Manager, Elaine Uy that they will be holding another Happy Slip event this Friday. The best part is, no pre-registration is required.

Due to insistent public demand, Happy Slip in cooperation with Yehey.com will hold another event entitled Happy Slip Fans’ Day this coming February 8, 2008, Friday at Mag:net Café, Bonifacio High Street from 1:00PM – 4:00PM. No pre-registration is required.
